Happy, Chiru Hasn't Done Such Things
As the announcement of Megastar Chiranjeevi's 150th film has arrived, no doubt, fans are going merry. Some sensible film lovers are also appreciating Chiru's move in selecting Puri Jagan and his story. Otherwise if he had went with a socio-reforming subject like that of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy and others, music would have got played for him.
Fans may get hurt but Chiru dashed the hopes of his own caste people and other followers cutting across all lines, by shutting down Praja Rajyam Party and then jumping into Congress bandwagon. Whenever this story is recalled, there are many who go crackers on Chiru for his decisions in politics. Megastar might have reasons that support him, but fact is that if he speaks about truth, honesty, integrity and social justice, no doubt people will not be able to digest it. Even in movies, such preaching might not go well.
Understanding the gravity of this situation, maybe Chiranjeevi got convinced with a regular masala commercial story narrated by Puri Jagan. Being a hardcore fan of Chiru, even Puri knows what he should show about Chiranjeevi now and what he shouldn't. Real admirers of Chiru are happy that their heartthrob hasn't signed such socio-political subject, which would have tarnished his image further.
